The proven and succesfull strength of Etras is a different way of developing solutions. The benefits of the Etras way of working are both for our customers and for Etras, it is a win-win methodology. Many examples exist where (software) projects fail due to wrong or incomplete specifications, where re-work leads to cost increase and delays. These problems are not solved by large teams or well educated engineers, these problems are solved by a different way of working.

Etras is a specialst in creating out of the box solutions. For every complex problem there is a simple solution, finding these solutions is the key and makes a difference.

Many solutions are created over the last decades by the well experienced Etras team. Solutions ranging from small tools to complex tools, used by small companies and used by companies with more than 1B$ revenue, where these tools are used by hundreds of engineers on a daily basis.

Expertise of Etras covers many domains, ranging from the chip industry and film industry to the gaming industry. Dependent on the problem to solve, Etras is capable to 'grab' bits and pieces and combine this into a dedicated solution.  The Etras knowledge base includes programming, complex math, database design, GUI design, ....

Niche Hardware

Not all solutions are possible to create with software, sometimes dedicated hardware is required. Etras has the knowledge in house to design hardware. Application areas range from digital, including FPGA's, to analog and mechatronica. Manufacturing and testing is outsourced. Etras has delivered a wide range of hardware solutions, worldwide.

System Design

A customer can outsource a part of the total development to Etras, where we develop and verify the software and hardware.

Etras can also participate in the system design where we function as a consultant. Etras is a strong partner when it comes to system analysis. We can help a customer with early reviews and spot possible omissions or we might come up with suggestions which could be overseen.

Yet another possibility is that Etras is responsible for the complete system design, implementation and verification. This has been done, very cost effective, for several dedicated, complex tools.
